BioFilmChip™ Microarray
The BioFilmChip™ Microarray is a novel, film based microarray, which consists of multiple layers of hydrogel matrices about 8-10 µm thick on a polyester solid support. This provides a three dimensional matrix that is highly compatible with biological materials. The second layer incorporates a proprietary composition for removing intrinsic fluorescence, which is essential for improving assay sensitivity and for eliminating potential artifacts due to fluorescent “hot spots”.
